Dr. David Drukker

Title: 
Some old techniques for modern inference

Description: Many modern studies, particularly event studies,  make two easily avoidable inference mistakes.  First, they ignore the simultaneous inference problem. Second, they use the method of overlapping confidence intervals.  This talk discusses these inference issues and presents easy solutions in Stata.

​About Dr. Drukker: Associate Professor in the John E. Walker Department of Economics at Clemson University. Previously, Dr. Drukker was an Executive Director of Econometrics at Stata.
